Ban Face Surveillance - Add Your Name!

Face surveillance is the most dangerous form of surveillance ever invented, and it’s spreading like an epidemic. [1] Now, CBP are looking to deploy it within 100 miles of the border and at airports.
More and more police and government agencies are using this invasive technology to monitor us everywhere we go, target vulnerable populations for arrest, and deport migrant families. [2]
Facial recognition is inaccurate in racist ways. It systematically misidentifies women and people of color at higher rates, putting them at higher risk of being falsely imprisoned or worse. [3]
We’ve gotten word from insiders in Washington, DC that Congress is about to introduce bipartisan legislation to address facial recognition. But if we don’t flood lawmakers with emails and calls, it will almost certainly fail.
Facial recognition is so dangerous that four US cities have already banned it. Sweden just banned it from being used in schools. [4] And a prominent development in London just abandoned its use after massive public backlash. [5]
People from across the political spectrum can all agree that we don’t want Big Brother tracking us everywhere we go. Facial recognition allows for the automation of discrimination and social control. It can’t be fixed with regulation, we need to ban it.
For our basic rights,
- Alex.

The same people who defended Ellen for embracing a pro-war ass in the name of "love thy neighbor, no matter their views" want to bite off Tulsi Gabbard's anti-war head and spit it out.

Yeah. Putin just called me personally on the Batphone and asked me to get involved, so of course I had to step in.

Samantha Power was your go-to girl at the UN in covering up atrocities your administration committed in Libya, #Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen.
She’s “incredible” at advocating for war under the guise of “humanitarian” intervention.

.@SamanthaJPower is a Pulitzer winner, an incredible writer, and a great friend. Her memoir, The Education of an Idealist, grapples with the balance between idealism, pragmatism, advocacy, and governance. It's a must-read for anyone who cares about our role in a changing world.

Regardless of the outcome of these protests, it must also be stated for the record that the US, France and the petrodollar dictatorship of Saudi Arabia have upheld #Lebanon’s corrupt status quo.
They’re as guilty as the oligarchy in keeping the Lebanese people in poverty.
