On the occasion of Catholic Easter, Syria’s First Lady visited the St. Paul Monastery in Damascus today, meeting with orphans, nuns and the elderly.
File this under things you won’t be seeing on CNN this weekend.

Multi-cultural #Syria would not exist if the #SyrianArmy had not destroyed the NATO+Saudi #AlQaeda gangs. Thank you @sahouraxo .
In Pictures: Syrians peacefully commemorate the Easter Vigil tonight at the Saint Elias Cathedral in Syria’s Aleppo.
Had Al-Qaeda not been defeated, we wouldn’t be seeing this celebration. #HappyEaster

Iraqi Christians hold #GoodFriday masses thru-out Iraq, from Basra to Baghdad to Nineveh Plains. In Middle East Christian cultures everything else shuts down in the communities during the #Easter weekend, as all prepare and gather to celebrate the most important days of the year.

Sad and tragic. But remember that UK troops have no legal grounds to be on Syrian soil – no UN Security Council resolution, no request from Damascus, not even a Parliament approval.
Today from the Saint Elias Cathedral of Syria's Aleppo, which was freed from ISIS and Al-Qaeda jihadists in December 2016, Syrians peacefully observe Good Friday Mass.
Think CNN, MSNBC or the BBC is providing coverage? Nope.
From Syria’s liberated Aleppo today: Syrians peacefully observe Good Friday Mass at the Saint Francis Cathedral, free of ISIS and Al-Qaeda jihadists.

This #Easter weekend please pray for peace and an end to the war in #Syria. #SyrianChristians & other minorities will be decimated if jihadists are allowed to takeover or the war continues, as some governments are pushing for. #PeaceforSyria
Thousands of Iraqi Christian families returned home to Iraq’s Qaraqosh to celebrate Palm Sunday for the first time in 4 years following the defeat of ISIS terrorists.
You’d think such a beautiful sight would make headlines in the mainstream media.

"Support The Troops" doesn't mean actually supporting them at all. It's an empty platitude designed to shame war critics & shut down anti-war dissent. Support the troops by demanding an end to war.

It's bizarre for a country to grant someone political asylum, then condition it on being barred from communicating with the outside world. Makes a mockery of asylum. Once proudly defiant, Ecuador is now depicting itself as rather subservient to the west
Cool. Does Oprah plan on asking the “Crown Prince” why Saudi Arabia beheads more people than ISIS, finances jihadists all over the world and starves and bombs children in Yemen?
Now why is it that Syria’s Aleppo is of no mainstream media interest when it is rising again with its citizens cleaning and rebuilding their city after the defeat of ISIS and Al-Qaeda jihadists?

We also have a duty to stand up and speak out against war criminals who believe it was “worth it” to starve more than 500,000 children to death.
