Good piece by @vandentoorn & @raadie66 on a crucial question: #IraqProtests are an unprecedented achievement in Iraqi political mobilization/expression, but where does it go from here?

Amazing description of Iraq al Msagher, Tahrir Square, so many great parts of Iraq & Iraqis on display, art, community, patriotism, diversity, ingenuity, hope these efforts expand, grow beyond the Square by the great @Mustafa_Habib33 @niqash

The snowball of #IraqProtests have become bigger than the political class, two options, either the ball destroys this class & everything exists,or the class uses a missile to destroy the ball, in both options Iraq is in danger

Hawza of Najaf remains suspended this week in solidarity with #IraqProtests. Today, staff of Al-Abbas shrine in #Kerbala marched to protest site too.
By the hidden Iraqi young generation that was out of accounts & surprised Middle East.
From the spirit of #IraqProtests, Iraqi version of #Bella_Ciao & #LaCasaDeBabel
Rough translation "My rights are stolen, my situation is chaotic, My tears fell, no jobs, no money in my pocket"
This is historic, in #Basra, which ruled by tribal traditions against the women, now as no one expected, the women strongly participate in #IraqProtests, they wear a workers hat as their ask only for jobs in their city, the world's richest oil city. Congrat to Iraq this generation
