During his on-stage interview with Kirk, Uygur noted that Republicans do “a great job of coalescing” and are more “welcoming” to other political groups than Democrats. Uygur has criticized Democratic leaders, including Kamala Harris, following Donald Trump’s victory in the November election for not reaching out to independent voters with a populist message.
He also encouraged Democrats to “unify” and stop attacking “one another.” Uygur then said older Democratic voters need to stop watching cable news because “they’re trying to get you to vote for corruption.”
I don't speak Chisler so possibly Cenk is using a different meaning; however, in politics, when you speak of political parties and "coalescing," you're referring to how, when someone gets the nomination, you "coalesce" behind them. Which, of course, is something that Cenk and Ana refused to do when Kamala Harris became the Democratic Party's presidential nominee. No, they attacked her daily and savaged her repeatedly.
At the conference, he wanted the fright wing MAGA to know that they unify -- over on the fright wing, they unify. But the left? They have too much division on the left.
Let me help Cenk out by making an observation.
I think right now, on the left, we're pretty much unified in agreement that you, Ana and THE YOUNG TURKS are grifters who need to stop using leftist identification to try to mate with the fright wing. In fact, let's all pull their cachet to the right as leftists-who-have-seen-the-light. That's not what they are. They're corporate pigs who worked their way through millions of Katzenberger dollars and lost the left and lost their audience and now they're trying to transition into something different.
Fright wingers, you're not embracing a hot act. You're embracing an act whose career ended many years ago. In other words, you had a slot open and some personal manager hyped you on delivering a big act from the 80s. You were picturing Heart, DeBarge, the Pointer Sisters, the Beastie Boys and then. instead, Men Without Hats showed up. That's what you got, an act that long, long, long ago lost its audience. It's kind of funny if you think about it, grifter Charlie Kirk gets used by grifter Cenk.
