The only thing worse than Trump remains his supporters

As Convicted Felon Donald Trump continues to stumble and fumble, his desperate MAGA freaks are coming out of the woodwork.  In many cases, they're exposing themselves in such a manner that they're ending their own careers.  For example?  David Edwards (RAW STORY) reports:

An Ohio sheriff's office official has reportedly told Democrats that he would not respond to their emergency calls because of their party affiliation.

In the days leading up to the November presidential election, Clark County's Lieutenant John Rodgers said he would use voter registration records to determine which calls he responded to.

According to WHIO, Rodgers' posts had been shared over 250,000 times on social media as of Friday.

The station reviewed social media posts with the threats from Rodgers.

"I am sorry. If you support the Democrat Party I will not help you" and "The problem is that I know which of you supports the Democratic Party and I will not help you survive the end of days," he reportedly wrote.

[. . .]

The Clark County Sheriff's Office told WHIO that an investigation had been launched into the social media posts.

"It is understood that while these comments are highly inappropriate, they in no means reflect the Clark County Sheriff's Office delivery of service to ALL our community and does not reflect the mission and values of the Sheriff's Office. The community has a right to be upset over the actions of Lt. Rodgers and he, as well as the Sheriff's Office in general, will have to work even harder to replenish the trust of members of our community," a statement from the department said.

No, you uninformed asshole, that's not how it works.  How it works is that Rodgers is placed upon immediate suspension and then he's removed.  These are his posts and once that's established beyond any reasonable shadow of a doubt, he has to be removed.  You don't get to pick and choose who you defend.  And if you think you do -- and are stupid enough to express that publicly -- you're not fit to serve.

This isn't open to interpretation.  This is the law.

Meanwhile, Eric Hananoki (MEDIA MATTERS) reports on Junior's efforts:

Anti-vaccine commentator and former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who former President Donald Trump said will have a “big role in healthcare” if Trump wins, recently appeared in an ad for CatholicVote urging people to support the Republican nominee. RFK Jr. was helping a group that works to oppose IVF, which it has labeled “evil” and “immoral.”

CatholicVote is a conservative organization that is supporting Trump. The organization’s president has appeared in right-wing media outlets, including Fox News, Newsmax, and Steve Bannon’s program. The group also posts media content that attacks Democrats and IVF.

It released an October 24 video featuring Kennedy, who stated that “President Trump has promised to take bold action on our economy, on the border, and on restoring children’s health” and said, “I hope you’ll join me in supporting Donald Trump.”

In addition to supporting Trump, CatholicVote also works to end IVF. It has a supposed explainer page on its website that criticizes IVF as unethical. It writes:

At first glance, IVF seems innocuous – simply a procedure to help parents conceive a child. However, the morality and ethics of the procedure begin before the embryos are created.

To help stimulate egg production, women have to take various steps to increase the fertility of their eggs and facilitate ovulation. During retrieval, eggs are removed from the ovaries with a suctioning device or needle that harvests more than one egg at a time, with no guarantee that any of the eggs will be healthy or able to be used to create embryos.

For men, the process is different. Sperm can be collected at any time and even frozen for use at a later date and is often collected through unorthodox means.

The page adds: “During fertilization and implantation, embryos that are considered to be unviable are either ‘discarded,’ used for scientific research, or frozen indefinitely. These standard practices violate the dignity of the human person, whose life begins at conception.”

That's how crazy and disgusting they are.  Professional doormats like Cheryl Hines may go along with it, but the rest of us shouldn't.  And, in fact, Cheryl needs to grasp that it is over for her.  Sticking by her cheating husband, violating her public promises?  She's a liar.  I'm glad Junior used to make fun of her lop-sided breast and how it dangled like she'd been in a car accident.

Charlene Bollinger is a fringe commentator whose account endorsed threads praising Adolf Hitler and pushing claims about a “Jew World Order.” She recently said that she’s “part of” and “working with” former President Donald Trump’s transition team to help close friend Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

During a November 1 interview on One America News’ Real America with Dan Ball, Bollinger said: “The transition team right now is being put together behind the scenes. I am working with a number of people to put together something beautiful so that Bobby Kennedy can roll out his vision and we get to be a part of this.”

Ball replied: “That's awesome. I didn't know that. So you're going to help with the transition and getting people in place to help Bobby clean up these agencies.”

Bollinger also said she's “working with the [Trump] transition team” in a November 1 video.

That's why you hold Nazi rallies in Madison Square Garden, because you're candidate is a Nazi himself who's longing to staff an administration with other Nazis.  And America doesn't do extremism.  Never has.  So people are rejecting Donald Trump.  Julia Conley (COMMON DREAMS) reports:

Political observers expressed shock Saturday evening as the Des Moines Register released its final poll before Election Day showing Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris leading Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump by three points.

Harris was supported by 47% of respondents compared to 44% who backed Trump.

The newspaper's poll, conducted by pollster J. Ann Selzer, is widely regarded as the "gold standard" survey of voters in the state and has been recognized as "predicting" numerous election results in Iowa and giving a potential preview of how candidates could fare in other Midwestern states with similar demographics.

We have the numbers.  When we fight, we win and, most important, when we vote, we win.  "Don't boo," Barack Obama has repeatedly advised at rallies in the last weeks and he's right.  If you've voted, great.  Now find out who you know that hasn't voted and see if they need help, maybe they need some persuasion, maybe they need a ride to the polls, maybe they need someone to watch their kids while they vote.  It's about the number of votes.  We have them but we have to get voters to the polls on Tuesday.
