Brothers and sisters, | ||||||||
My campaign has no staff, no dues money and no institutional backing. What it has is what UAW members put into it. I’m asking you to contribute to support my campaign, and I recorded this short video to tell you exactly what your money does.
| ||||||||
I am running for president of the United Auto Workers against an apparatus that spent $107 million last year on the salaries of its own staff.
Every dollar you give this campaign goes toward reaching workers. It prints the leaflets that committee members hand out at plant gates and in break rooms. It sends mass emails to the membership, which cost $500 each and are the only way we reach members whose locals have told them nothing.
| ||||||||
Here’s what the rules require: Contributions must come from UAW members and retirees in good standing, up to $2,000 per member.
Thank you. | ||||||||
In solidarity, | ||||||||
| ||||||||
