RadioNation with Laura Flanders: Sunday Esther Kapalan and Lisa Jervis

Kat here. Yesterday's entry that I did on RadioNation with Laura Flanders got a few complaints because it went up so late (it was posted after the show started). I agree it should have been up earlier but there were posting problems and I noted that yesterday.

If you're lost and have never heard of Laura, let me bring you up to date:

RadioNation with Laura Flanders . . . Broadcast each Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 to 10:00pm EST on the Air America Radio Network, and available for listening online, RadioNation also produces a one-hour version, which is provided free to noncommercial community and college stations.

Tonight, you get "Nation contributor Esther Kaplan and Bitch magazine's Lisa Jervis dissecting the media outlets that wage the Right's war on women" along with other guests. (But who needs guests? Laura could do three hours solo and make it interesting.)

Now let me bring you up to date on this site. We're in the midst of The Third Estate Sunday Review marathon session. We honestly spent Laura's shows AND hours afterward discussing ideas and only started getting some good ones about two hours ago. We have three completed pieces. (Ava and C.I. haven't yet written their TV review.) The only thing we knew, before inspiration hit, about wanting to write was the piece on Laura's show. We haven't written that. There were some who felt that if we wrote that, we'd have one under our belt and things would move quicker. More felt that if we wrote the one piece that we were ready to, we'd never write the rest so figure out what we're addressing.

Point? C.I.'s entry may go up late. West, if you're reading this and C.I.'s morning entry isn't up yet, e-mail about which one of Isaiah's comics you'd like reposted. Why? Isaiah's trying to brainstorm but sent C.I. an e-mail a half hour ago stating he was afraid he might be blocked.
Hopefully, he'll get an idea but if he doesn't, it's not the end of the world and there are many comics he's contributed that are worth highlighting again. West is the most vocal fan of Isaiah's work so he can pick the repost.

By the way, do you know about "Ava's entry"? She posted that at the mirror site Thursday. I didn't know but even C.I. didn't know. We're discussing highlights right now and "Ava's entry" was noted. Many of us were asking, "What's that?" So if you missed it, please check that out.
