Talk Nation Radio: Nell Bernstein: Close All Juvenile Prisons
http://davidswanson.org/node/4436
Most kids commit crimes. Those locked up in juvenile prisons are more
likely to commit crimes as adults than are those left alone. So, why
do we lock them up? What drives such counterproductive programs that
create such misery despite demonstratd failure to achieve their
purported ends? And how can we alter our approach? We speak with Nell
Bernstein.
