Iraq’s former prime minister on Saturday
refused to revise his prospective Cabinet list, despite demands from
Shia power broker Muqtada al-Sadr, throwing another roadblock in front
of efforts to form a government eight months after elections.
The
State of Law coalition refuses calls "to replace Falih Fayyad and other
candidates for the new Cabinet,” Nouri al-Maliki told a press
conference in Baghdad.
He said
replacing Fayyad would risk stability in Iraq as it creates a perception
that al-Sadr's Sairon Coalition is trying to put pressure on parliament
and the government.
Nouri al-Maliki, of course, is well remembered in Iraq. The former prime minister and forever thug has been screwing the country over for years.
The corruption in Iraq reached its highest level in the era of the "former Prime Minister" Nuri al-Maliki.

Nouri's always been hated.
- Did you know that after America invaded iraq they installed the prime minister Nouri al-Maliki who was in the iranian revolutionary guards and fought against iraq in two wars?!
Nouri was installed by the US government twice. In 2006, by Bully Boy Bush, he was made prime minister. In the March 2010 elections, he sought re-election. But he lost. So Barack Obama re-installed him using a legal contract (The Erbil Agreement) to go around the Iraqi people and their votes.
In terms of giving rise to ISIS, Nouri was an outstanding success. From a human rights perspective, he was an abject failure. In fact, you have to wonder why he hasn't been put on trial already. It is what he deserves. He's stolen from the treasury, he's killed the family members of Sunni politicians, he's overseen the false imprisonment of girls and women -- and the beatings and rapes they endured, he's killed journalists, go down the list.
Nouri's demand for Falih Fayyad is interesting.
A whole battle appears to be being waged for Falih.

They're expected to vote on Sunday. And maybe they will -- finally. But they've been expected to vote over and over -- most recently, last Tuesday -- and the vote never comes.
Iraq has no Minister of Defense nor a Minister of Interior. They do have ISIS, still in the country, still carrying out acts of violence.
