The class struggle is heating up—we need your help
The class struggle is heating up. Twenty thousand Chicago teachers went on strike today, 2,000 miners are on strike in Arizona and Texas, and 3,500 Mack truck workers have joined 50,000 General Motors workers whose strike is now in its second month.
The World Socialist Web Site and Socialist Equality Party are actively involved in covering and providing a socialist perspective to these struggles. We need your help.
“Herein lies the social power that can bring down Trump and expose his reactionary demagogy for what it is …This objective movement must be guided by a conscious socialist program and perspective. The Socialist Equality Party and its youth organization, the International Youth and Students for Social Equality, are spearheading this fight.”
The growth of the class struggle means we must expand our coverage, which means increasing our expenses. It costs money to break the lies of the corporate media and the threats and isolation of the pro-corporate trade unions.
