Protect your local rapist -- says Hollywood

Bernie Sanders should drop out of the race for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination?

That's what a lot of idiotic, unAmerican, anti-democratic fools insist.  Call them Alyssa Milano, call them Larry David, just don't call them patriotic or democracy lovers.

The nomination, they maintain, belongs to alleged rapist Joe Biden.

The numbers do not make that case.

To win the nomination outright, a candidate needs 1991 delegates.

Bernie has 914 and Joe has 1217 -- per NPR.

No one has reached 1991.

There are 27 primaries still to be held.  There are 1619 delegates still to be awarded.

Shame on any piece of trash who calls for a candidate to drop out before the primaries are held and before the people have a chance to vote.

Alyssa and Larry are saying a big f**k you to Wisconsin -- a state Dems need to win but lost in 2016 and Donald Trump ended up in the White House.

Let's do that again, right?  That's the point of pissing off the people of Wisconsin by telling them no one in the Democratic Party gives a s**t who they want for president?

Oh, wait, they don't want to hear from Wisconsin, do they?

One reason the Democratic Party might have lost Wisconsin to Trump in 2016?  The people there overwhelmingly voted for Bernie over Hillary Clinton in the primary.

Yeah, say the Alyssas and Larrys, let's shut this thing down before the American people realize just how unpopular alleged rapist Joe Biden is.

Protect your local rapist -- that's the plan Alyssa and Larry are implementing.

According to Matthew at PATHEOS offers:

Joe Biden has recently been accused of sexual assault by Tara Reade. Reade was a former Senate aid of Biden in the early 1990s and has claimed this assault happened in 1993. Reade did report a sexual harassment claim at the time, but was met with much resistance and eventually gave up.
Several other women have complained about inappropriate touching from Biden as well. Lucy Flores, a former candidate for lieutenant governor of Nevada, claimed Joe Biden kissed her without permission at a campaign event in 2014.
When Flores shared her story in 2019, it motivated Reade to come forward with the full details of her story. Reade tried to seek out help from Time’s Up, an organization that claims to help sexual assault survivors come forward with their stories. However, Time’s Up turned down Reade because they said they couldn’t investigate anyone who is currently running for office because it could be viewed as political and jeopardize their nonprofit 501(c)(3) status. This stance would prevent survivors from coming forward with their stories against many powerful people in Washington as they often run re-election campaigns. Additionally, Ellen Aprill, a professor of tax law, claims Time’s Up is being too conservative with such a hard stance.

Regardless of the position held by Time’s Up, Reade’s story is now out in some media outlets such as The Economist, Huffington Post, and The Hill. But mainstream Democrats have been largely silent so far. Liberals such as Alyssa Milano, who was very vocal about the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, have yet to say anything against Joe Biden.

Thomas Schwartz (THE SETONIAN) notes:

I do not want to delve into the clear hypocrisy of the media’s handling of Reade’s allegations. Nevertheless, these allegations only further cement Biden as a problematic candidate. His unfavorable voting record such as supporting the invasion of Iraq and voting for devastating trade agreements like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) are liabilities. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Census Bureau data, from 1993-2002 the United States lost over 1.5 million jobs due to NAFTA.
Biden’s adverse voting record, renewed allegations of sexual misconduct and his evident cognitive decline on daytime television will only lead to Trump’s reelection in November. The Intercept reported that even establishment supporters fear for his cognitive fitness.
Recently, Bernie Sanders raised more than $2 million over the course of 48 hours for charities combating the COVID-19 outbreak, as reported by The Hill, while Biden has remained virtually silent only appearing for occasional television interviews.

Democrats have lost any moral ground they may have once scraped together. The imposition of Biden as electable is unfounded. Certainly, Biden has more centrist policy proposals than Sanders which may appeal to a larger electorate, but he lacks the mental fitness and the political acumen to confront Trump on a debate stage.

From RING OF FIRE's discussion of the issue:

Farron Cousins: We’ve gotten a lot of emails from people saying, you know, you can’t, you can’t discuss this. I had somebody tell me the other day, it was my job to support Joe Biden. That they were emailing me to tell me what my job was allegedly supposed to be. But, but the truth is here. This is a story. This is a real thing that Joe Biden has not had to address because the media is not asking him about it. He has done countless interviews since this story emerged and not once has anybody asked him, hey, you have been accused of this. You want to give us your side of the story maybe?
Mike Papantonio: Let me be specific about that. CNN has a town hall meeting. Okay. They can ask him anything they want. They ask him about everything except this after the story had broken. Chuck Todd, MSNBC. Chuck Todd has him on this very personal kind of interview. He’s talking about everything, everything about his life. But he never asks him one time about this woman who has accused, made, made this accusation that is legitimate. There’s no, I mean, if it’s not like there were no witnesses. Okay. There were no direct witnesses, but that day she went and talked to people. She told them what happened and when they, when she tried to push back, she met a total stonewall.
Remember Joe Biden is the guy who crucified Anita Hill. Okay. Don’t forget that, that is being part of the story. Anyway. CNN, MSNBC, the Intercept, thank goodness, again, comes to help. Intercept, you know, I think to me right now in journalism, it is the standard. Intercept comes in, ignores CNN, ignores MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CNN. Jimmy Kimmel has Joe Biden on the air. Oh, they’re talking about feel good stuff. They’re chumming chumming it up. Kimmel that day, the story breaks, everybody knows about it. Kimmel doesn’t ask one question about it.
Farron Cousins: Right and you also have to give a lot of credit to Katie Halper from the Katie Halper show. She’s the first one to really talk to Tara Reade and air that interview. Krystal Ball over at the Hill rising on the Hill has done it as well and that’s what needs to happen. But these independent media outlets, the non-corporate owned who do not, you know, engage in this kind of tribalism. They’re out there talking about this story. They’re telling people, listen, this is a thing that, and nobody saying yes, 100% he definitely did it.
Mike Papantonio: Oh, but it’s real.
Farron Cousins: But it is. This is an allegation. Joe Biden himself has said, we got to believe women. All of his defenders right now have said, we got to believe women and here it is when it’s not politically convenient. Let’s not believe women.

Mike Papantonio: Here’s the list of people’s stone, organizations stonewall. ABC, stonewall. NBC, stonewall. CNN, stonewall. Jimmy Kimmel specific, stonewall. Anderson Cooper, stonewall. Chuck Todd, stonewall. I could go on forever. These are people that call themselves journalists. They’re, they’re jokes and, and, and until somebody gives this woman a chance to tell her story, the public can hear it, the, the joke continues.

The primaries are not over -- there 27 more to go.  Claiming Bernie needs to drop out is nothing but whoring for Joe Biden -- who may or may not be a rapist but is clearly not fit to be president.

Don't believe the liars and the whores and isn't it telling that Larry David shows up to attack when Bernie's again calling for every adult to receive $2,000 a month during the pandemic?  That seems to offend Larry -- the way his hideous ex-wife always offended me with her faux concern for the environment.  Yeah, Larry's a hypocrite just like his ex-wife.  Let's not pretend he's our professor in a poli sci class.
