Just got back from the centrist rally. Amazing turnout. Thousands of people holding hands and chanting “Better things aren’t possible”

If you sense I’m a tad ticked off, it’s because they’re digging mass graves in the park in our country’s largest city, while the Republicans destroy everything and the Beltway Dem establishment does everything it can to preserve the status quo and offer only managed decline.

We’d all have more joy had you not spent your time sitting in a corporate funded think tank for 20 years collecting a fat paycheck to vilify Medicare for All and every other progressive economic priority. Life mighta been a bit better for millions of people.

There are suddenly a lot of bunnies in my neighborhood and they bring me much joy when I’m able to see them on a walk. I am holding onto that joy.

Stardate: April 7th, 2020. We’ve reached week four of the pandemic. Warp speed insanity among the #Resistance has officially been achieved as proponents of health care for all are now publicly called terrorists.

Turner, Sirota, and Gray definitely count as nonviolent political terrorists. If Bernie would fire all three, there could be progress.

How many times has Friedman written this same column? The truth is that the things that terrify me the most are the areas where Dems and GOP agree. War! Trade! Massive unfettered corporate bailouts!

Theres too much content right now - everyone is spamming the internet, creating a flood of news & takes. Other than 's daily dispatch, I dont know what to spend limited time reading/listening to. Gimme 3 sources to cull it down. Newsletters, podcasts, websites, anything.

If Biden is the nominee, I hope he defeats Donald Trump. But the ad hominem toxicity (as distinct from fact-based policy criticism) emanating from his staff and supporters is not helpful for the ultimate effort to win the general election.

Been with the kids all day & actually don't even know what this tweet refers to, other than to know there are people who sit on this website literally every minute of every hour of every day just flinging out completely unhinged ranty insults. Whatever helps you cope, I guess.

Call me crazy but I trust and listen to John Lewis and Jim Clyburn, not Joe Rogan and David Sirota.

It used to be that a successful day was writing a speech or landing a big scoop. Now, a successful day is digging up an ancient laptop, resuscitating it, upgrading its software & getting it child-proofed and set up for the kids' online classes...as I try to also get work done.
