On November 26, NSA whistleblower Reality Winner spoke at the Whistleblowing for Change conference during a Q&A after a screening of the film, "United States vs. Reality Winner." It was her first public event since her arrest in June 2017. Reality described the trauma and stress of home confinement as well as restrictions she will continue to face during three years of probation. She completed her prison sentence on November 23—the longest sentence ever for someone prosecuted under the Espionage Act and convicted of an unauthorized disclosure of information
