The innocents and the con artists who lie to them

In the real world things get worse and, no, I'm not talking Katie Halper playing a little girl sitting on convicted child molester Scott Ritter's lap.  No, that sad trash is an adult and she'll get what she deserves.  I won't rescue her from her self-destruction.

But there are innocents.  And they're the ones under attack.  Chris Lehman (THE NATION) notes that Katie and her gals Maxi-pads Blumenthal, Aaron Mate and the rest can't call out:

Even before Moms for Liberty had wrapped up its second annual national conference—bearing the Margaret Atwood–esque sobriquet “Joyful Warriors Summit”—in Philadelphia on Sunday, the event was a messaging triumph. That’s because the Florida-based right-wing school takeover group, launched in 2021 to protest Covid lockdowns, could count on an amnesiac and credulous press to dress up its race-mongering, anti-LGBTQ+, and hard-right organizing profile in the image of a standard-issue interest group steeped in the homespun politics of local citizen outrage at the grassroots level.

Don’t take my cranky left-critic word for it. NBC News’s Bianca Seward and Gabe Gutierrez attended a breakout session at the five-day Philadelphia confab dedicated to media strategizing. Leading the training workshop was Florida Republican Party chair Christian Ziegler, the husband of Moms for Liberty cofounder Bridget Ziegler—who now helps run Governor Ron DeSantis’s Disney oversight commission. “The media is not your friend,” Ziegler announced, and advised the group’s culture-war faithful to pursue a starve-them-out strategy: “If you give [the media] the least amount possible, you’re fully controlling the message. The more you give them, the less you control. The less you give them, the more you control.” This approach, he went on to note, exploits the key weakness of political reporters: “They’re lazy. They have no idea what’s going on at school board meetings. Oftentimes they don’t even know how local government works.”

The press wasted little time in proving Ziegler right. New York Times reporter Jonathan Weisman opens his own report on the event with an account of a recent PR fiasco for the group, when the Hamilton County, Ind., Moms for Liberty chapter quoted Adolf Hitler in a newsletter and issued a shamefaced retraction along with a public apology. But instead of allowing readers to dwell on the autocratic tendencies of a Hitler-quoting political faction, Weisman instead cites the Hamilton County chapter’s antics as a case study in movement-building by means of “controversy”:

The group’s reputation for confrontation and controversy is very much intact, but as Moms for Liberty convenes on Thursday in Philadelphia, it is doing so not as a small fringe of far-right suburban mothers but as a national conservative powerhouse—precisely because of chapters like Hamilton County’s and their energized members.

It’s true that admirers of fascist leaders are generally a high-energy cohort. But Weisman suggests that not much is to be made of the group’s penchant for extremist thuggery, since, well, GOP presidential hopefuls are thronging to court its support:

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a left-leaning human rights organization, deemed Moms for Liberty an anti-government “extremist group” this year. But five Republican presidential candidates, including former President Donald J. Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, will be addressing its Joyful Warriors National Summit.

Left-leaning activists decry the group’s methods and agenda, but the lead GOP front-runners don’t! Who knows what civilian bystanders are to make of such unfortunate quarrels? Weisman makes no mention of the conservative movement’s half-century crusade to overthrow public education in America, so he can only shrug at how free-floating “confrontation and controversy” attaches itself to the partisan forces feuding over the place of public schools in the American polis. Moms for Liberty, then, is but an organic expression of conservative Covid-era outrage.

Moms For Liberty are a hate group.  We've seen their type before in Germany during the rise of the Nazis.  They're a hate group determined to destroy rights and liberties.  You'll know the grifters by who cozies up to Moms For Liberty.  That's the embarrassing Junior who wants to be Daddy but can't stand up like Daddy could.  No, Junior isn't Robert F. Kennedy.  Sadly, he never will be.  He has no backbone.  He does have a lesbian niece but he'd rather cozy up to homophobes than protect his own niece.  And some idiots are stupid enough to believe that he could protect the country?  Junior's a little boy playing at grown-up.  Go away, tiny tot, go talk your crazy COVID conspiracies with other nut jobs.

Like Naomi Wolf.

An e-mail came in asking what the hell happened to Naomi Wolf?  He was a fan of her work -- especially THE END OF AMERICA.  What the hell happened?

I don't know, she popped one too many pills.  She tried to huff one of those chem trails she's always nattering on about?

I have no idea.  I know told Michael Ratner not to get too close.  He was really impressed with her when she started standing up for liberties.  A passing fad, I told him.  And it was.  It offered too little creativity for her and her drugged out illusions.  So she ended up chasing chem trails and other 'important' issues.  Then she shamed herself -- and they should pull that phd since her thesis was completely wrong -- and had her book pulped and, I don't know if she's a hop head as a result or if the crazy's just taken over her mind like syphilis, but she's beyond help at this point.  She loves her Mommys For Liberty.  She loves anything that feeds her crazy.

And then there's Katie Dirty Clown Hole.

What do you say about a feminist or 'feminist' (as the case is) who decides to fawn over a registered sex offender (Scott Ritter)?

Well, you start by noting the obvious.  The last 33 segments of THE KATIE HALPER CLOWN SHOW have feature 33 males and 1 female guest.

In Katie's pathetic-sniff-at-the-crotch-of-the-pedophile-world, that's what women want and need.

In her world, that passes as 'representation.'

Over 50% of the country's adults ae women.

But they make up less than 1% of her guests.

It's her show.  There's no one to blame but her.  She's the trash selling out women.  While she's used her gender from day one.  It was her gender that got her on at WBAI.

She's a Clarence Thomas.  She was happy to use affirmative action for herself but not for others.

She's a middle-aged woman hosting USEFUL SMEGMA and THE KATIE HALPER CLOWN HOLD SHOW to advance men.

How self-hating do you have to be, as a woman, to not bring on other women?  How self-hating do you have to be?

These people can't lead us forward, they can't lead themselves forward.

They are frauds and whores and we should declare our liberation and, yes, independence from them.

B-b-but we might miss something important!

Like?

Katie giggling on camera with pedophile Scott Ritter?

Katie's wall-to-wall coverage of 'poor' Roger Waters, 'targeted' with an investigation in Germany, after he appeared on stage in an SS uniform.

Yeah, you blithering idiot, Katie, in Germany that is reason for an investigation.  They do take the glorification of Nazis seriously in Germany and only an idiot like you wouldn't grasp that reality.  He wasn't thrown in jail, he was investigated for a specific incident.  Grow the hell up.

Liberation and independence will free you from the stupidity of the Katies, the Juniors, the Naomis, and all the crap that, quite honestly, if you stepped on, you'd rush to scrape off your shoe.

Kat's "Kat's Korner: Rickie Lee Jones provides songs of wisdom for unwise times" went up right before this.  The following sites updated:
