DRUM CORPS WORLD Finals week is HERE!

Dear readers: Once again it appears that the challenge to gain DCI‘s top prize is close between the four corps featured on the cover.  The 2023 season has generally been very successful for the corps, the fans and nearly every show sponsor, a couple of which unfortunately were impacted by rain or canceled because of inclement weather. The 20 World Class and 14 Open Class corps that will appear in the Thursday world championship prelims will be completing their tour and fans will be treated to seeing the return of Spirit of Atlanta and the Seattle Cascades, as well as a first-time opportunity to see the Columbians from Washington. DCI is an event to be anticipated and then enjoyed for those in person at Lucas Oil Stadium as well as seeing the Thursday theater and FloMarching “live” broadcasts.  I can’t wait to be in my seat at Lucas Oil Stadium! -Steve Vickers Welcome Chris Green! Chris Green comes to Drum Corps World as our new Advertising Executive.  Chris has been involved in the performing arts since picking up a trumpet in 5th grade.   Chris works full time in the performing arts through his Florida based company called Virtual Assistant Director, LLC.  Chris has marched, taught, and founded several drum corps in both DCI and DCA, as well as some overseas consulting.    He is excited to join the Drum Corps World team, and continue to help give back to the activity that has given him so much.   Contact Chris at advertising@drumcorpsworld.com to get started!
