Dear readers:
The Drum Corps International Board of Directors, following an extensive search, will have a new executive director and CEO beginning November.
Nate Boudreaux will be assuming the leadership role as Dan Acheson retires after a 30-year career as the CEO.
Boudreaux brings an extensive career of working in the
non-profit world and this assignment will no doubt bring a fresh approach to the management of DCI and the drum corps activity, while maintaining the success of the organization established over the decades, especially after Acheson’s handling of a series of significant challenges.
As corps go through their audition process and finalizing the roster of members, the next seven months are critical as DCI’s 52nd year approaches.
The addition of DCA Championships to DCI week is an exciting opportunity to bring the two levels of corps together.
