    Hahnemann Hospital is set to close because its investment-banker-owner can’t turn a buck on the life saving hospital in Philly. He declared bankruptcy and hopes the fire sale can begin soon so he can move on—leaving patients, med students & 2,500 employees to fend for themselves.

    That's a lie. - There were 96 price increases for every cut during 2018 - Drug prices increased 10.5% in the last 6 months - The prices of 104 drugs rose by 13.1% on average last week When we win, we won't wait for drug companies to end their greed. We will end it for them.
    Last year was the first in 51 years where prescription drug prices actually went down, but things have been, and are being, put in place that will drive them down substantially. If Dems would work with us in a bipartisan fashion, we would get big results very fast!

    The business model of our health care system is about making as much money as possible regardless of the suffering that profiteering creates. Our job: fight to save Philadelphia's Hahnemann Hospital and pass Medicare for All to end the greed denying health care to millions.
    This hospital is closing not because it is not needed (17,000 inpatient stays in 2017; 2/3 black/Latino patients) but because it is unprofitable. In the US, which hospitals expand and beautify, & which disappear, is contingent on which can turn a profit. …
