The WSWS published its 75,000th article--help us grow!

From WSWS:

This week, the World Socialist Web Site published its 75,000th article since its official launch in February 1998.

This is an unparalleled work of political analysis and exposure of the capitalist system, carried out over more than 21 years of continuous publication, conducted by hundreds of writers and political activists.

The WSWS has consistently upheld the principles of Trotskyism, the revolutionary Marxism of today, and fought to defend the interests of the international working class.

We need your support to keep up this fight!

The leaders of world imperialism have met in France over the weekend. They are deeply divided among themselves, each major power engaged in economic warfare against the rest while preparing for the outbreak of open military conflict. But they are united on one thing: suppressing the class struggle and driving down the living standards of the working class.

The alternative to this is the independent political mobilization of the working class, in which the WSWS and the International Committee of the Fourth International will serve as the principal theoretical and practical center.

As the WSWS wrote August 21, in a Perspective commemorating the 79th anniversary of the assassination of Leon Trotsky, founder of the Fourth International:
"In his relentless battle against Stalinism, Trotsky laid the foundations for the development of revolutionary strategy in the 21st century along with the programmatic and political foundations of the struggle for socialism. No other figure in the history of the Marxist movement is as relevant to the present world situation and the tasks facing the international working class and its revolutionary vanguard."
The strategy of world socialist revolution is being vindicated in the daily experience of the international working class, as workers fight giant transnational corporations that operate in dozens of countries, and as struggles multiply across national boundaries: AT&T telecommunications workers in the United States, “yellow vests” in France, school teachers on every continent, masses of workers and youth in Algeria, Sudan and Hong Kong.
