Ava and my "Media: Reality versus the lies the media loves to spread" just went up at THIRD. It went up seconds before Joe Biden started speaking (he's speaking now). We weren't in the mood to also cover today's speech. So we rushed it and got it up. There will be no other content at THIRD this week. They were working on pieces and Jess and I did a piece that he was typing up.
We had just started the section on non-hero Dr Ruth when we learned that Joe was about to address the nation -- you'll see this "We're pressed for time, Joe's about to address the nation about the attempt on Donald's life. So we need to hurry because we don't want to be stuck covering that as well." Five minutes after we typed that, we posted the piece. Dr Ruth was not a friend -- not a good one -- or an ally to the LGBTQAI+ community. I'm tired of all the media lies and of the stupidity. We'd hope to go back over the FAYE documentary (I know Faye Dunaway and I love her and there's a lot of accuracy in that documentary but there are two huge mistakes -- neither from Faye -- that need correcting and we only had time to do one). The concluding paragraphs? 30 seconds if that was spent writing them because we were planning to pull FAYE, Dr Ruth and Joe all together but that fell apart when we needed to quickly do Dr Ruth and wrap up.
