Amy Goodman will be in Irving, TX Friday, Feb. 18th

I don't know what city every community member lives (nor do I need to) but the Dallas-Fort Worth area has a number of community members. And when it appeared Amy Goodman's Exception to the Rulers book tour was stopping in December of 2004, they e-mailed about how the tour visited Austin but not their area.

The tour is continuing and this is a heads up (call me Doug Jehl!) Friday, February 18th, Amy Goodman will be in Irving, Texas. Here's the info from the Democracy Now! web site:

Internationally acclaimed journalist Amy Goodman, host of the national daily, radio/TV program Democracy Now!, is on a national tour to mark the launch of her first book The Exception to the Rulers: Exposing Oily Politicians, War Profiteers, and the Media That Love Them. Thanks to Rob for pointing that out. (Rob: "Dallas and In Dallas should be interested in this.")
I know of five community members in that area. It's a Friday night and if you'd like to attend but needed a heads up to ask for time off (if you're lucky enough to get time off) you've been alerted ahead of time.
We'll do a specific reminder of this one ahead of time because five people did e-mail about the tour going to Austin but not Dallas so I know there are people in the area who would like to attend. But since Rob had just e-mailed that this morning, we'll go ahead and post it right now.
