A bombing and Nouri's SWAT forces kill protesters in Baquba

It's Friday, which means protests in Iraq and, sadly, more and more means chief thug and prime minister Nouri al-Maliki's forces wound and kill Iraqis.

Iraqi Spring MC reports a Baquba bombing has left many dead (above)

Protesters and bystanders who attempted to help the wounded to the hospital were attack and beaten by Nouri's SWAT forces.   SWAT forces also surrounded Baquba General Hospital to prevent people from donating blood.

Nouri's Tigris Operation Command forces are ordering the hospital not to reveal the number of dead and wounded they are receiving.  Why is the Iraqi military being used against citizens, why is being used to harass medical providers?

Because Nouri fears another scandal.  In addition to the bombing, his SWAT forces began firing at protesters.  The man below is dead.

At least one Iraqi is dead, killed by Nouri's forces.

How many Iraqis does Nouri get to kill before the world community rises up and calls for the thug to step down?  He's already run most business out of Iraq (except for northern Iraq).  It wouldn't take much to get Nouri out of office (and would require no guns).  You make it clear that aid is tied to it, you make it clear that you're pulling all support -- not just financial -- and the slender thread Nouri's been swinging from is cut and that National Alliance and Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq join with Moqtada al-Sadr, Iraqiya and the Kurds to vote him out office.

We're at the Ways and Means hearing which is packed and about to start.

This is the biggest news out of Iraq this morning.

How big?

There are no reports on it other than Iraqi Spring MC -- once again, the world press is silent as Iraqis suffer.
