The #Resistance is a Dem farce. Look at it’s embrace of war w #Russia in #Syria, and how its phony peace groups, essentially Dem front groups, go along for the ride. @MoveOn@WinWithoutWar etc are awash in millions from liberal oligarchs & foundations.
With no #Douma investigation, no UN mandate, and in clear breach of international law, US UK France launch attack against a sovereign nation that hasn't attacked them, in 'retaliation' for an alleged event the circumstances of which are very far from clear
Strategy Trolling is my second favorite look busy, pseudo anti-war position. The best is Congress Must Vote Trolling––they both permit liberals to look Very Concerned without the mess of actually opposing the bombing as such (which most dem establishment supports & has for years)

Assad must be held accountable for his horrific use of chemical weapons on his own people. But we don’t put our troops in harms way without a strategy. Pres. Trump must present one to the nation and Congress must vote.
Trump knows - as have all US presidents - that he can make foreign policy elites & media figures from both parties heap praise on him the instant he drops bombs on people. It's not only a sick incentive scheme but also a vivid illustration of how sick US political culture is:

I believe that the US, UK, & France did the right thing by striking Syria over chemical weapons. It will not stop the war nor save the Syrian people from many other horrors. It is illegal under international law. But it at least draws a line somewhere & says enough.
It is Congress, not the president, which has the constitutional responsibility for making war. The international community must uphold the prohibition against the use of chemical weapons, but it is unclear how Trump's illegal and unauthorized strikes on Syria achieve that goal. https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/984961620706250752…
Imagine if blue-ticked Arabs were openly revelling in the sight of bombs being dropped on a US city. There’d be endless think-pieces from the likes of Tom Friedman and Bret Stephens on what drives the mysterious "Arab mind" to glorify death and destruction
