Isakson to Meet with Presumptive VA Secretary Nominee on Monday at 4:30PM
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., will be meeting with Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, M.D., on Monday, April 16, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. in his office at 131 Russell Senate Office Building. Jackson is the presumptive nominee to serve as secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Credentialed members of the media will be invited in for a brief photo spray at the top of the meeting. Still and video photography only; no audio or questions will be permitted.

The Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs is chaired by U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., in the 115th Congress. Isakson is a veteran himself – having served in the Georgia Air National Guard from 1966-1972 – and has been a member of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs since he joined the Senate in 2005.
