The fish issue is a huge problem and it's much bigger than the media's talking about.  Some outlets will note the water pollution regarding Basra or note the water shortage.  Few are noting that livestock plummeted over the summer -- due to the drought -- or that farmers were discouraged from using water for crops due to the drought.

You've got a country that needs to feed people.  But feed them what?  The summer of 2018 was the worst summer for crops in Iraq.  It was the worst for livestock.  And now the UN is warning people not to eat the fish.

This is very big.
