    I’m paraphrasing but this is what Obama said to . “I’m sorry for your loss but f**k you.” In 8 years Obama DOJ only prosecuted 2 cops. The one who killed was not one of them. He is still on the force and got overtime pay for appearing in court.

    is premised on personalities, not issues. She has been largely focused on controversy for the sake of it, not talking about substance of US or Israeli policy criminality. It’s used to keep people locked in their partisan boxes and rile up “both sides”.

    The thinks that it scored a big blow against Trump and 🇷🇺 by taking Assange prisoner. Trouble is that 🇷🇺 isn't hurt by this, while the 1st Amendment just got shredded - and they're no closer to "getting Trump" either. Trump, for his part, showed just how craven he is.

    The journalists decreeing that "Assange is not a journalist" aren't actually saying something about Assange, but about themselves. Assange engages in journalism that exposes the powerful. So those excommunicating him from journalism are saying they identify with the powerful.

    In this country we have protections for whistle-blowers, those who take personal risk to disclose wrongdoing in the public intrest. Julian Assange is not being pursued to protect US national security. He is being pursued because he has exposed wrongdoing by US administrations
