I haven’t watched this show for years, despite folks whom I respect still agreeing to appear on his show. We should laugh at ourselves. But I find no comedy in cruelty. @billmaher has made it profitable, and that says as much about America as it does him.
As #COVID19 continues to spread to 21 states & beyond causing massive economic losses to working people (Austin losing 300mil+ from SXSW cancellation), think abt how paid sick leave & healthcare for all could slow the spread & allow for recovery - policies only Bernie supports.
I’d argue that rather than focusing on who is going where, the better focus is in the community where coalitions must be strengthened and expanded. Bernie can win but we need better turn-out and a unifying message.
