In case it wasn't clear that our political and media elites are callous, out of touch and contemptuous, Rep. Jim Clyburn and MSNBC's Chuck Todd really make it plain. When the South Carolina Congressman, who describes himself as the most "progressive" Democrat in Congress and has publicly blamed his party's losses on the "Defund The Police" slogan (that not a single person who lost their seat ran on) appeared on the cable network that loves to hate on the Left, he condemned those who want to "defund The Department of Defense." Chuck Todd, famous for red-baiting, punching Left and having terrible facial hairs, chuckles and smirks smugly and says, "It's an interesting phrase you picked their congressman, and I think it was done on purpose.
