I am still sick and was so thrilled that Kat wrote another music review period but especially when I feel like I'm phoning it in. As Trina notes (""), Ava and I also wrote a piece for THIRD at some point today. I don't see any notes there so unless I hear something before I post this, I'm publishing Ava and my piece. Honestly, I'm too sick for us to work on an edition together later in the week -- even tomorrow. Ava and I had talked about maybe bringing BARBIE into what we wrote but it is what it is. Let's get into it.
Iraq
on Sunday threatened to cut diplomatic ties with any government that
allows the desecration of the Quran, the country’s top authorities said.
For the second time in weeks, an Iraqi man
of Christian origin living in Sweden as a self-proclaimed atheist
desecrated the Quran and Iraqi flags on Thursday in front of the Iraqi
embassy in Stockholm.
Hours later, Iraq asked the Swedish ambassador to leave its territory and recalled its charge d’affaires from Stockholm.
Late on Sunday, Iraq’s President Abdul Latif Rashid, Prime Minister
Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al Halbousi and
Supreme Court Chief Justice Faiq Zaidan met to discuss issues including
the desecration of the Quran and the Iraqi flag.
Do it. Don't threaten, do it. You're a bunch of cowards and thugs -- we'll get to that in just a moment. You think you can make it without the rest of the world, you go for it. Let's note that when the European aid and the US aid dries up, the Iraqi people will be even more screwed. The government does nothing but steal as it is. So do that, you proud little pieces of trash.

Reality, Iraqis with Moqtada's group burned US flags in Baghdad last month. For extra insult, they also burned and stomped on LGBTQ+ flags.

We didn't even notice their garbage and I wouldn't be bringing it up now but the useless and corrupt Iraqi governments wants to object that their flag has been burned. But they didn't arrest one person for burning the US flag.
So maybe grow the hell up or just admit you're a worthless hypocrite. If it's wrong for a country to burn your flag, then it's wrong for you to burn another country's flag.
Again, like a grown ass adult, I ignored them last month when that took place. That's what adults do.
Instead, Moqtada's crazy cult and the government of Iraq want to threaten and attack other countries.
So, yeah, cut yourself off from the west. That should work wonderful for you. You and Iran are again arguing over borders. Without using your access to the US, you don't have a bargaining chip there, do you? So go ahead and cut yourself off from the west. I'd love to see what happens next as you and your big ego get cut down to size.
The crazies attacked the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad.
Because, well, they're insane.
I'm sick as a dog and I'm sick of those who pervert faith. Religion does not allow for you to carry out violence. You're sick in the head and you poison the world while disgracing the faith you claim to embrace.

Iraq and Jordan, a ministry spokesperson said on Sunday, citing security
concerns after the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad was set alight last week
in a protest over burnings of the holy Quran. "
Good. Every country should be doing that right now and Iraq's puppet government should be on its knees begging the world's forgiveness for its inability (actually, its refusal to act) to protect the Swedish embassy.
Or, for that matter, Danish interests in Iraq.

The premises of a Danish aid
organization in Iraq were attacked on Saturday following the desecration
of a Quran in Denmark ealier this week, Iraqi security sources told
dpa.
The attack on the
Danish Refugee Council Dansk Flygtningehjælp (DRC), in Iraq’s southern
province of Basra, damaged caravans but caused no casualties, they
added.
Iraq’s
independent portal Alsumaria News meanwhile reported that the DRC center
in Basra had burned down, without giving further details.
I don't have time for the crazies in the US so I'm certainly the crazies overseas. You're a bunch of idiots allowing yourselves to be misled. The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is outraged as well!!!

There are real issues and human rights abuses across the Middle East. The governments screaming about holy books and flags? The biggest human rights abusers in the world.
In Iraq, the Iraqi people live hideous lives because they have corrupt politicians. Their water often isn't safe to drink, heavy rains -- due to poor infrastructure that should have been repaired over 1t years ago -- means flooding which means people getting electrocuted. Electricity is still not anything the people can count on in the summer months.
But, by all means, rally around the holy book and pretend like that will make your life better. It won't. And all you're doing is weakening that holy book you claim to revere because you're telling the world that criminal psychotics are the ones reading your holy book.
