Just a reminder; you Can’t Cancel Pride! For the 5th year in a row, the Can’t Cancel Pride benefit concert special will feature performances from some of today’s hottest artists, to recognize the influence of music and support impactful LGBTQ+ organizations.
Hosted by the GLAAD Media Award winning Billy Porter, the star-studded event will be available for streaming on Wednesday, June 12th. Fans can catch performances from Billy Porter, Allison Russell, Ben Platt, David Archuleta, Meghan Trainor, Melissa Etheridge, Orville Peck, RAYE, Victoria Monét, and more.
The event will also feature special appearances from Alan Cumming and Joel Kim Booster, Brandi Carlile and Catherine Shepherd, Brian Michael Smith, Brothers Osborne, Bruno Alcantara, Chappell Roan, Eddie Ndopu, Jazz Jennings, Jennifer Hudson, Jodie Sweetin and Kevin McHale, Paris Hilton, Priyanka, Quinn Christopherson, Sherry Cola, Tan France and Karamo Brown, Tori Kay, among several others.
In addition to hosting and performing, the multi-talented Billy Porter will also be honored with the Elton John Impact Award in partnership with the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The award will be presented by none other than Elton John himself!
This event aims to recognize the trailblazers who are creating positive change across different areas of society while providing much needed visibility and funding for six LGBTQ+ organizations – CenterLink, GLAAD, National Black Justice Coalition, Outright International, The Trevor Project and SAGE – to continue the transformative work they are accomplishing in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Now in its fifth year, the event will celebrate the profound impact of music, a unifying force that can drive society toward more equality and acceptance for all.
Fans can tune in to the one-hour benefit special, produced by iHeartMedia and P&G, on iHeartRadio’s YouTube and Facebook pages, Hulu and Revry on June 12 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT and the special will be available to stream throughout Pride Month.
