Cop orders K9 to 'Bite" Man During Wellness Check (Graphic footage)

RemiX Morning Show discussion around the ordered K9 mauling of Travis Moya Body cam footage (and the following message) courtesy of North Fulton NAACP Body Cam Video of Alpharetta Police & Travis Moya 7.25.21 PLEASE watch this body cam video. WARNING: The video (of the dog attack) is pretty graphic. If you think the video is an inappropriate use of force for a mental health call, please email/call Fulton County DA Fani Willis and ask her to conduct her own independent investigation of this use of force in Alpharetta in the case of Travis Moya from July 25, 2021. Her email is: fani.willis@fultoncountyga.gov OR Call her @ her office 404-613-0192 and voice your concerns. Leave a message if it is the weekend, they will get it. Draft email/call language: "Hello, my name is [insert your name] and I am a Fulton County resident. I am calling to ask DA Willis to investigate the recent actions of the Alpharetta Police Department. If you're not familiar, an Alpharetta officer sicked his dog on Travis Moya, a Black man in the middle of a mental health crisis. Mr. Moya had committed no crime and instead of de-escalating the situation, the officer had his dog viciously attack Mr. Moya within 4 minutes of arriving on the scene. I believe this was an inappropriate use of force and I'd like DA Willis to look into it further. Thank you for your time." Alpharetta Police on Thurs, 8/6/21 released their internal investigation report to the press and the department has decided to take NO responsibility for their actions. #Alpharetta #Atlanta #PoliceBrutality
