Cher - Until It's Time For You To Go (The Cher Show, 09/21/1975)

Cher's singing a song written by Buffy Sainte-Marie -- it's one of Buffy's most covered songs. New Birth took it to the top forty of the R&B chart, The Four Pennies took it to number 20 in England, back to the US: Neil Diamond covered it in 1970 and took it to number eleven on the adult contemporary chart and Elvis took it to number forty on the pop charts (and number 9 on the adult contemporary charts). Cher first covered the song on her 1966 album CHER. In 1969, Barbra Streisand covered it on her WHAT ABOUT TODAY? album. And we have to note Peggy Lee's version from her 1968 live album 2 SHOWS NIGHTlY.
