Dear readers:   The Drum Corps International Board of Directors, following an extensive search, will have a new executive director and CEO beginning November.   Nate Boudreaux will be assuming the leadership role as Dan Acheson retires after a 30-year career as the CEO.   Boudreaux brings an extensive career of working in the  non-profit world and this assignment will no doubt bring a fresh approach to the management of DCI and the drum corps activity, while maintaining the success of the organization established over the decades, especially after Acheson’s  handling of a series of significant challenges.   As corps go through their audition process and finalizing the roster of members, the next seven months are critical as DCI’s 52nd year approaches.
