Hasn't happened.
Ronald Reagan's son Michael (Gannett Newspapers) pens a column which, in evaluating Barack, notes, "Your on-the-job-training as the leader of the Free World has been over for several years."
The editorial board of the Roanoke Times points out:
Obama has sent several reports on the attacks in Iraq to the Hill, but he has yet to explain the extent of the U.S. commitment, other than to say the objective is to “degrade and destroy ISIL so that it’s no longer a threat, not just to Iraq but also to the region and to the United States.”
What does that mean?
And David Remnick (The New Yorker) shares, "Obama’s halting cool at the lectern now reads too often as weakness, and when he protests against the charges of weakness he can seem just tired."
These are just some of the published opinions and takes on War Haw Barack and his lack of a real plan.
It's only going to get worse.
And the administration is trying to avoid Congress when the best way to ensure Congress won't make a fuss is to make Congress vote on continued war on Iraq.
Unlike most of the items on his wish list, Barack likely could get a vote for war. Congress is usually too scared to ever vote against a war.
Over and over this administration bungles the most basic steps.
For those of us opposed to war on Iraq, these bungles may be the best news yet.
It's over, I'm done writing songs about love
There's a war going on
So I'm holding my gun with a strap and a glove
And I'm writing a song about war
And it goes
Na na na na na na na
I hate the war
Na na na na na na na
I hate the war
Na na na na na na na
I hate the war
Oh oh oh oh
