Why the silence?





"Stop In The Name Of Love" by Diana Ross & the Supremes is one of the 19 number one pop songs (BILLBOARD US singles chart) that Diana Ross has sang on.  November 19th, she'll be on the live broadcast (ABC) of The American Music Awards to perform and to receive the American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement.




Others need to stop and take a look at themselves -- especially those silent about the latest attempt to destroy Iraqi women and girls.




If this becomes law, it will be a huge backward step for Iraq, a catastrophe for women and girls




Bayan Sami Rahman is the KRG's representative to the US.

It's a real shame others aren't using their own voices to decry it.

We've certainly the international community support women in the US who've been assaulted by Harvey Weinstein.

How very sad that the same support isn't going the other direction.

What was it Jane Fonda said of the victims of Harvey Weinstein?

They were White and famous?

So they got attention?


Jane Fonda: People are listening now because Weinstein victims are "famous and white"


Well Jane, you've got a Twitter feed, you've got a blog.  Why don't use one or both to send support to Iraqi women and girls?
