He could cause me to bang my head against the wall or reveal something I'd missed. But rather I was enraged or informed by him at the moment, he always provided value. And he certainly made me think -- that's whether I was agreeing with him or disagreeing with him.

Peter Van Buren participates in the public square, he starts dialogues. He is a part of the fabric of democracy and when you rip him out, you are attacking free speech.
