Some Tweets from Cory Booker

  • The War on Drugs is a war on people—one that disproportionately hurts people of color & the poor. On Day One as president, I’ll use my pardon power to set in motion a historic clemency process for those serving excessive sentences from our failed drug war.
  • The Trump administration is targeting the most vulnerable in our society: The poor, the elderly, and children. Under its proposed policy, 3 million Americans in need could lose the ability to put food on the table. This is outrageous.
  • This is painful. This is a moral, defining moment in America. Other generations had to answer: When the Know Nothings, McCarthy, Wallace and so many others sought to demean, degrade, demagogue and divide, What did you do? We must now answer. Silence is toxic complicity.
  • Real superheroes are ordinary people doing extraordinary things. George Allen, a home care worker in NV, is the very definition of this but we aren't doing right by him. He deserves a living wage and it's why I'm fighting for home care workers like George.
  • These men got the best haircuts of their lives (maybe I’m biased!) AND earned $1,000 each for the charities of their choice for shaving their heads tonight in West Des Moines, Iowa.
  • Diverting military funds for a vanity project is exactly who Donald Trump is. I will continue to fight back and join with those already challenging this wrong and misguided decision.

NEW: hires Aaron Bishop as faith outreach coordinator based in South Carolina. For the last 12 years, Bishop has been the reverend of Grace Christian Church in Columbia. Welcome to the Cory 2020 family!
  • This is a well-deserved honor and tribute to Tyrone's legacy in advocating for public education.
  • The ADA was signed 29 years ago today. We have more to do to ensure equality for Americans with disabilities who still face high poverty rates & barriers to health care & quality of life. As president, I'll fight for equal rights & inclusion for people with disabilities.
  • The second debate is less than a week away, and I’m grateful for all of the supporters who have signed up to host a debate night watch party. If you’d like to host one yourself, please join us:
  • We’re so close to meeting the 130,000 donor threshold to make the fall debates—less than 5,000 away! I think we can hit this by Monday … can you help? Chip in here:
