One of the great things about shopping at an indie record store, where you're buying records directly from humans, is that sometimes you take home something besides records.
We're talking about the "added value". The "gift with purchase".
Both of those are just marketing-heavy terms for some of the cool posters or things made to commemorate a record, or the store stickers and buttons the humans behind the counter throw in as a "THANKS" for choosing to get your music at an indie record store.
Sometimes those added values show up in the packages that the record store humans pack up and ship to you when you order online. Our own record store sticker collection has blossomed this past year because of it.
Right now though, we'd be hard-pressed to think of anything that adds more value than the ghost portrait you might get from the human above when you order from Seasick Records this week.
