  • President Trump promised to end regime change wars, but he has broken that promise. The cost of such wars is unacceptable, both in loss of life and in money sorely needed to rebuild America. These wars must end.
  • Criminal justice reform must include strategies for dismantling the systemic racism that causes Black men to disproportionately receive harsher sentences compared to other races and ethnicities for the same types of crime.

  • Nearly two weeks after gov shutdown, many federal workers have still not received back pay - struggling to feed their families, pay for housing & keep their electricity and heat running. On Feb. 15th, funding ends again unless both sides find a workable compromise.

    A police chief in Texas was brought to tears when he swore in a 6-year-old girl as an honorary officer. She has an incurable cancer, and wants to become a cop so she can fight the "bad guys in her body" 💖
  • We must stand up against private prisons, who are profiting off the backs of those caught up in a broken criminal justice system. This system which favors the rich and powerful and punishes the poor CANNOT stand.
