    Rosie Jimenez died 41 years ago because the Hyde Amendment pushed abortion care out of reach for her. Nobody should be denied abortion care just because they're poor.

    Rosie Jimenez was the first woman known to have died from an illegal abortion after the Hyde Amendment was passed. She lived in my home state of Texas. She must be remembered in any conversation about the Hyde Amendment or justice cannot be served.
    Media’s talking about Biden, the 70’s, and the Hyde Amendment, should not erase Rosie Jiménez. Biden talks about “internal struggles” but consistently reconciled them externally in political ways that harm women and girls.

    Feminist icon continues to support the which prohibits federal dollars to be used for abortions. (Every other presidential candidate is against) How many Dems will do mental gymnastics to excuse this too?
    There’s NO political or ideological excuse for ’s support for the Hyde Amendment, which translates into discrimination against poor women and women of color plain and simple. His position further endangers people already facing enormous hurdles.

    I'd love to ask Biden about his little harassment jokes. Which part is funny? Is it that these complaints have been lodged against HIM? Is it about a perceived oversensitivity to groping? If he's gonna get laughs from this, he should be forthright about where they're coming from.
