    Hard power never achieves its ends. US seems to depends on that to deal with PMU. Probably it wants to work with pro US iraqis. But who would trust Trump after what he did to Kurds in 2017 in Iraq & Syria in 2019? Trump harmed US interests for unforeseeable future in ME.

    If you had only stopped Shia militias attack on Kurds in Kirkuk, they would have thought twice before attacking U.S bases. But you told your generals "let them fight, fight." The mess is the result of your incompetency and lack of understanding of foreign affairs.
    Iran killed an American contractor, wounding many. We strongly responded, and always will. Now Iran is orchestrating an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Iraq. They will be held fully responsible. In addition, we expect Iraq to use its forces to protect the Embassy, and so notified!

    Green Zone is not safe. All foreign diplomatic representations, companies, NGOs and etc should review their security protocols. It's best to move to Erbil until the Iraqi government credibly can provide protection. Yesterday's events proved gov & Iraqi military have no authority.
