    Not many people know this, but Medicare-for-all is the only thing that costs money. Keeping a military presence in central Asia is actually free, thanks to a bunch of coupons the Pentagon cut out in the 70s.

    This terrible ask was because I needed, in less than 24 hours, for a sitting Senator to commit to a fairly untested action for an indeterminate amount of time, but which had taken as long as 20 hours in the past and meant sleeping on the sidewalk overnight.

    Oh my God this is such a lie I could fall off my chair laughing except no wait I'm crying
    LIE by the : “A defendant’s finances generally figured in the bail amount.” Anyone who has spent any time in NY arraignments knows an accused’s finances were rarely considered in setting bail. That’s why so many low-income folks were held. Shameful.
