Washington, DC – In case you missed it, yesterday Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced landmark legislation to combat the growing data privacy crisis in America and bolster protection of Americans’ data. The Data Protection Act would
create an independent federal agency, the Data Protection Agency (DPA),
which would protect Americans’ data, safeguard their privacy, and
ensure data practices are fair and transparent.
