Why is the VA pimping a phone sex line?

"Hey, sexy."  That's the greeting.

We  speak to student groups, to women's groups and to veterans groups about these never ending wars.  That's Kat, Wally, Ava and myself.  This afternoon, we were speaking to a veterans group.  Afterwards, a man asked if he could share something odd.  I said, "Always."

So he's in TRICARE East.  He tries to call about a referral to a doctor but can't get anyone so he looks up online and finds another number.  He finds 844-866-9378.

It's actually for TRICARE West.  "That was my bad, but watch what happens."  So he dials the number on his cell, puts in his information in the automated system -- Social Security number and I forget what else.

The automated system tells him that he's TRICARE East and he needs to call 800-444-5455.

He dials the number and we hear, "Hey, sexy."  It's an automated voice for a triple X phone service.

The number TRICARE West meant to provide was 844-444-5455, not 800-444-5455.

Instead of the automated system giving out TRICARE East's number, they're giving out the number to a sex service.

How does no one at the VA notice that?
