Beto O'Rourke has over 141,000 people contributing to his campaign for the US Senate

Community member Sabina has endorsed Beto O'Rourke for the US Senate.  She asked if we could note some of his Tweets.  (I only endorse a race if I can vote in it.  I can't vote in Texas.)

Martin Luther King, 50 years ago tonight, Memphis--“I’ve been to the mountaintop….Like anybody, I would like to live a long life….But I'm not concerned about that now….I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land”
  • Our state is currently 49th in turnout. Making sure the National Voter Registration Act is followed in Texas and ending gerrymandering will lead to greater participation in our Democracy.
  • We're running this race in the most grassroots way possible. Real people pitching in five, ten, fifteen bucks to power the campaign forward to the next county and the next town hall.
  • Enjoyed being back in Waco today for a discussion hosted by the . Thanks to all of you who spent your afternoon with us.
