If at the end of my life I am remembered as one of the people who intently and obsessively worked to help focus public attention on Social Security during the 2020 election, I’m good with that.
  • Non-oligarch Michael Bloomberg: ✅ "Part time resident" of offshore tax haven, hasnt released tax returns: ✅ "shifted assets into offshore accounts, many of them in reputed tax havens" ✅ Buys elections:
  • Somewhere in a mahogany file cabinet in a Manhattan office, there's definitely a McKinsey guidebook that explains how candidates behind in the vote tally can try to shift attention away from actual votes and toward something called "state delegate equivalents"
  • But you know...we're not allowed to say the word "oligarch"
  • "Bloomberg's charitable foundation shifted hundreds of millions of dollars in assets into offshore accounts, many of them in reputed tax havens...The transfers began after management (was) turned over to Steve Rattner, a financier now under investigation"
  • Looking forward to seeing what kind of McKinsey-speak will be used to pretend these results mean Bernie didn't win
  • I think this deserves a bit more attention
  • Bernie is still winning — pass it on
  • After getting crushed in Iowa on the Social Security issue, Biden is somehow still trying to erase 40 years of his own record trying to cut benefits & freeze funding for the program. His tactics won’t work, because the facts are the facts right here:

I just heard someone on CNN talk about his record on Social Security. If you want to compare the records of Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders on Social Security, please watch this video:

. Forecast on early and super Tuesday states ____ has the best chance of winning: Sanders: New Hampshire Nevada California Texas North Carolina Virginia Massachusetts Minnesota Colorado Tennessee Oklahoma Arkansas Utah Maine Vermont Biden: South Carolina Alabama
  • I love the folks on this website who insist it will take indomitable toughness to defeat Trump, and yet who instantly get the vapors anytime I tweet a link to a C-Span video or the Congressional Record.
  • A perpetual grifting machine
  • Gonna be super cool when a new set of DC consultants gets a lucrative contract to build a new app to replace the old app that the other consultants got a lucrative contract to build

You know how Very Serious Pundits have been claiming the Dem Party's problem is Bernie's unkempt "bros"? It's almost as if that nonsense aims to gaslight you into ignoring the multimillion-dollar, election-destroying, anti-grassroots grift culture rotting in open sight in DC

Personal opinion: the whereabouts of the full Iowa results shouldn't feel like the ending scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark

  • Interestingly, the same media that spent months trying to scandalize Bernie's very simple tax returns has said absolutely nothing about this. Oh also, Mike Bloomberg owns one of the major current and future employers in the entire journalism industry, where jobs can be scarce.
  • Nonetheless, MSNBC has insisted to us that is not, in fact, an "oligarch"
  • To review: hasn't released his tax returns and lives part-time in an offshore tax haven. He also publicly touts that tax haven even as it has long been criticized for being a place where American corporations can use shady schemes to avoid paying U.S. taxes.
  • A year ago: "Industry titans Michael Bloomberg & Brian Duperreault highlighted Bermuda’s value to global business" Bloomberg is called a "part-time Bermuda resident" Bermuda is a foreign tax haven where the rich & corporations go to avoid U.S. taxes
  • The press corps spent months trying to scandalize the release of Bernie's simple tax returns. This same press corps has almost nothing to say about media billionaire Mike Bloomberg living part-time in an offshore tax haven and not releasing his elaborate tax returns. Strange!
  • I'm told Mike Bloomberg isn't an "oligarch" -- he's just a billionaire who buys elections and is a "part-time resident" of a foreign tax haven
  • Me, asking where the hell the full Iowa results are

bernie sanders won 43% of nonwhite voters in the iowa caucus, almost three times that of the next highest candidate, pete buttigieg
  • This is basically what I see in my mind when I imagine a McKinsey PowerPoint presentation trying to slickly justify something that's quite obviously absurd, contradictory and horrible 👇

    By getting fewer votes
  • It's weird Bloomberg News said that to prevent a conflict of interest, it wouldn't report on the 2020 race...then Bloomberg News published a story distorting Bernie's Social Security record & not mentioning Mike Bloomberg proudly pushing to cut Social Security. Weird, I tell you
  • Addendum: Michael Bloomberg also has a very long record of trying to cut Social Security.
  • Some facts to consider: - Biden went into Iowa as the clear frontrunner. - As political "experts" scoffed, Bernie contrasted their Social Security records. - It appears Bernie placed 1st & Biden placed 4th. The end.

Bernie's campaign team is very impressive and, naturally, all the DC geniuses who ran Hillary's campaign & lost to a game show host spent months denouncing the choices: "hired Twitter trolls & amateurs,” etc. The people they like are running Biden's campaign & the Iowa caucus.
  • With 71% reported, Bernie so far has won the most votes. Thank you for attending my TED talk on the topic of “facts that the media refuse to say.”
  • Trying to dispassionately explain to my 9 yr old son what happened in Iowa, because he really wants to know the results. He doesn’t understand why they don’t release the full tally. I don’t have an answer for him. After 2 days, he’s starting to suspect that something isn’t right.
