Extremist Makeover: US Media Rebrands War Criminal

The U.S. media is doing that thing is does so well: rebranding a terrorist war criminal as a reasonable guy and presenting regime change as an Arab Spring. Abu Mohammad al-Jolani wants the world to know that he's broken up with al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra. He's even traded in his fatigues for a suit. PBS and journalist Martin Smith are helping him with his PR tour. What could ever go wrong? Katie and her panel of Jack Allison, OK Fox (https://twitter.com/0kf0x) and Eugene Puryear assess al-Jolani and explore questions that other shows are too afraid to touch like: did Osama Bin Laden have nice eyes? Is that an appropriate question? Was Rasputin hot? Should we talk about Leni Riefenstahl's cinematography? And should we start a "Hot Or Not: War Criminals" Edition? OK Fox is a host of the Art And Labor podcast (https://twitter.com/artandlaborpod); Eugene Puryear is a journalist at Break Through News (https://www.breakthroughnews.org/) and Jack Allison is a host of Struggle Session (https://strugglesession.supercast.tech/) and Jack AM (https://www.twitch.tv/jackam) https://ridgewoodtenantsunion.org/don... ***Please support The Katie Halper Show *** On Patreon https://www.patreon.com/thekatiehalpe...
