The Drone War and how Medea Benjamin keeps it going

I can't stomach a whore.  Every time Medea Benjamin tries to get attention for herself, I think, "Oh, good, this is where she stops whoring."  Then I stream or read and she can't stop whoring.


If you've missed it, after her lazy refusal to build a protest led to her embarrassing attempt to try to  hijack an MLK event, she didn't learn a damn thing.

She's pimping her book on The Drone War.  I haven't read it because I'm not a masochist.  But I'm sure it's as empty as her statements and, in fact, as vacant as her empty head.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism has started a project entitled Naming The Dead.  It's an important project.  The Drone War is killing people.  The Drone War is overseen by Barack Obama and he and the White House lie about who dies insisting they're all terrorists -- even the children apparently.

Naming The Dead is about putting faces on the victims.

The US government doesn't like that.  It's why they lied that they didn't do body counts early on in the Iraq War.  Nancy A. Youssef broke the news that they were keeping a count of deaths in Iraq.  Of course they were.  They just didn't want to make that information public.  If you want to cover up your killings, the only thing better than reducing people to mere numbers would be the ability to conceal that number.

Naming The Dead is focusing on Pakistan.

If you're not understanding how much of a whore Medea Benjamin is, she's trying to piggy back on the project.


And her actions undermine the project, go against its intent and purpose.

It's very important that the Bureau of Investigative Journalism carry out this project about Naming the Dead. But it is quite strange that it's a U.K. media group rather than the U.S. government that is giving us this information. We should have the right to know who is being killed in our name. And according to the Naming the Dead project, they have already identified about 600 people of the 2,500-plus who have been killed. About half of those so far they've identified are civilians, and about 100 of them are children.


Now, if you ask the U.S. government, they would say almost no civilians have been killed, and then they certainly would not acknowledge that children have been killed. So we are looking forward to this project giving us a detailed information about who has been killed, profiles on a number of these people. And we hope to educate the Americans that the drone warfare that our government tells us is so precise is not precise.



What is the point of the project?

To put a face on the victims.

And what's the job of the people trying to stop The Drone War?

To put a face on the The Drone War.

In other words, if you're too chicken s**t to say two words, stop talking, just stop talking.

The two words Medea can't say, can never seem to say?

"Barack Obama."

The US government?  Is some custodian at the Senate Hart Building giving the orders to kill?

Is some clerk at the National Archives and Records Administration over The Drone War?

If you go to the info for the February 14, 2009 South Waziristan murders, you find this:
At least 25 were killed in the first strike of the Obama presidency to target the Pakistan Taliban (TTP) and its leader Baitullah Mehsud.
A house, a madrasa and a vehicle were hit in a strike that killd 25 Uzbek militants alone according to the Taliban. At least one civilian was killed – a child hit by flying shrapnel. His father complained to the UN that his son had been illegally killed.


In their first sentence the Bureau can name Obama.

But our supposed anti-war 'warrior' Medea?

She still can't call out Barack.


You know all the little whores in the Cult of St. Barack kept insisting in the 2008 primaries that after 'sweet and pure' Barack beat 'evil' Hillary, they'd hold his feet to the fire.  Then in the general election, the whores said they had to be silent to keep McCain from winning but, by golly-jolly for sure, after the election they would hold his feet to the fire.

Barack's in his second term.  They've never done it.  Tom Hayden has.  I gave him a ton of crap here in 2008 so let's note it took awhile but he finally did break with the Cult.  Norman Solomon's also found his voice.   Neither are as strong as David Swanson who appears to have been revolted by all the rank hypocrisy.  But those three have found their voices.  Good for them.  They were hardly the only members of the Cult.

As long as people can't speak names, as long as they refuse to, the crimes and the criminals continue.

If Medea seriously wants to stop The Drone War, she's going to have to learn to name and call out the man running it.
