Hillary tries to distract from her record (e-mails, war, etc)

(Illustration is Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts from January, 2006.)

So the ridiculous War Hawk Hillary Clinton gave a speech on 'foreign policy' yesterday.

It was supposed to silence some of the criticism of her and stop the bleeding in the polls.

How a speech on 'foreign policy' was going to suddenly make her likable or trustworthy was never quite explained.

But some did like the speech, some in her inbred cult.

Adam Johnson didn't but seems surprised others may have.

Yglesias insists politics isnt like real estate, one cant just move on after errors. Doesnt mention Iraq/Libya once.

I don't understand the surprise.

But maybe because we've been here awhile.

Matt Yglesias -- like Ezie Klein (VOX) -- did not oppose the Iraq War.

They were cowards who weren't sure how to make a decision and commit to it.

So they cheerleaded it and then they opposed it.

They were cowards and they were trash and people are dead as a result.

Expecting the trash to hold itself accountable is like expecting the trash to take itself to the curb.  It's just not going to happen.

And Ezzie got fired from THE WASHINGTON POST for that secret e-mail list, remember?

It's worth noting that here because he -- and others -- were happy to talk about how to trick people, how to use their positions to secretly influence.

That's what trash does.

They learned nothing from the Iraq War.

Nor did Hillary.

And as she preached her death and destruction, didn't she come off just a bit unhinged?

Didn't anyone wonder how she had mistook herself for former Secretary of Defense?

But then if your record as Secretary of State were as paltry as her own, you might try to mask what your position had actually been as well.

Wait.

That's not fair.

She does have a record -- it's just such an ugly one.

Iraq/Libya/Syria/Honduras, death trains,voting for wall,disastrous trade deals,fracking, ,

The whole point of her speech yesterday was to try to scare the American people from Donald Trump.

How awful do you have to be when your entire campaign strategy is "My opponent is even worse!"

She used loaded language as well -- "finger near the button."

With all the sex scandals she and her husband have endured, shouldn't she choose her words a little more carefully?  She's already called Trump a "loose cannon" until that one reflected back on Bill Clinton and his hosing of Monica's infamous blue dress.

Donald has his own response.

  1. "I'm not the one who wanted to go into Iraq!" -Trump fires back at Clinton's foreign policy speech

Trump: I'm the one that didn't want to go into Iraq, folks, and she's the one that stupidly raised her hand to go into Iraq and destabilize the entire Middle East.

For those late to the party, I will not be voting for Donald Trump.  I am not endorsing Donald Trump.  I've stated that repeatedly here.

And you can also refer to "2015: Year of the Ass" where I concluded:

2015 will lead into 2016.  So is it any surprise that, as the year ends, it appears very likely that the two major party candidates who'll be competing next year will be Hillary and Donald Trump?
What else, honestly, what else could The Year of the Ass produce but a match off between each major party's biggest ass?

Donald Trump is an ass -- as is Hillary.

Any given day, it's a toss up as to who brayed louder.

But regarding Iraq, Trump does have a sound point against War Hawk Hillary.

As we noted in yesterday's snapshot, Haider al-Abadi's attempting to halt today's protests:

Many roads are blocked in this Friday with a call for protest at 4:00 PM.
