The lessons of the Lanka Sama Samaja Party’s Great Betrayal

This series of articles published by the Socialist Equality Party (SEP) in Sri Lanka mark the 50thanniversary of its foundation in June 1968. Established as the Revolutionary Communist League (RCL), the Sri Lankan section of the International Committee of the Fourth International (ICFI), itwas renamed the Socialist Equality Party (SEP) in 1996.
These articles elaborate the RCL’s principled foundations and draw the essential political lessons from the struggle for these principles over the past 50 years.
