Respect Georgia’s Vote

Friend,

November 3rd, Georgia showed us what we have seen over and over and over again: Black voters are powerful.

Now, with your help, they will raise their voices again!

The Georgia Senate runoffs will determine the future of the pandemic, the planet, and life as we know it. In a year of both corona devastation and climate devastation, the stakes could not be any higher.

We have little over a month to organize with the same passion we did for the 2020 Presidential election—and we’re going all out. Can you chip in to the Respect My Vote! campaign?

Let’s be clear: Georgia’s runoff system was designed do what it’s doing: ensure there are fewer people at the polls than there were the first time [1] Black voters came out in RECORD numbers on November 3rd, but the runoff is a voter suppression moment in the best of times—and we all know a pandemic election is NOT the best of times.

The Respect My Vote! Campaign is making sure we reach back out to every voter who cast their ballot in this election to make sure they are informed, energized, and organized. The first round of mail ballots went out yesterday—which makes this a critical weekend for organizing!

The Respect My Vote! Campaign is a people-powered movement for a people-powered moment. As the Georgia election comes racing towards us, we are working hard to make sure that every single voter makes it to the polls- safely, virtually, and securely.

We broke records for democracy in November. Help us break those same records in January.
